My name is Paul Evans and I started coarse fishing over 50 years ago.  After a distinguished match fishing career (which continues today) I decided to share some of my experience to help others catch more fish.

Over the many years of competition fishing (mainly river and lakes/pools) I have won four national division 1 medals and represented England in an international match against France.  I have fished for some of the most famous team including Shakespeare which was one of the first professional match fishing teams. I have also fished for Cofton Hackett, Coleshill and the BAA (Birmingham Anglers Association).

Today I am often know as "Caster Man" due to my extensive use of the caster and pole methods which I employ on the various carp lakes in the area. You can read an interesting magazine article about me by clicking the link below.

Since 2003 I have been a qualified level two fishing coach and am a member of the professional anglers association. I have enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance and hold a first aid certificate. I also hold full public liability insurance.

Let me help you to catch more fish!
